2. "Who wants to live forever?" – Maximum Life Extension with LiTEplus (17:10 – 17:40)
How lifespan can be extended through the use of measurement technology: Jan Hupasch (Deutsche Windtechnik), Matthias Saathoff (PE Concepts), and Marc Thomsen (Bachmann Monitoring) report on new methods for determining the remaining lifespan beyond the current state of the art.
3. "Come Fly with Me" – A Look Back at a Successful Drone Season 2023/24 (17:40 – 18:10)
The certification process for a drone used in rotor blade inspections is particularly demanding, as the drone must be able to fly precisely and safely near large wind turbines while collecting detailed inspection data. Helge Brau (Project Manager Drone Inspection) reports on 350 inspections, both onshore and offshore, TÜV certification, and fantastic views.
